5 Advantages Of Choosing Manufactured Homes

Real Estate Blog

The materials for manufactured homes are built inside a factory-like setting. When the products are finished being built, they are covered and sent to the new location. They are then assembled by a builder. You will also hear these homes called pre-fab or factory built homes. Below are four advantages of choosing a manufactured home.

Warranty

If you currently own a home and something goes wrong, you will have to contact a contractor yourself to repair it. This can be a hassle, and takes up your time. Manufactured homes typically come with a one-year warranty for its construction, and then a second warranty for appliances, faucets, siding, doors, windows, etc. Some companies will offer extended warranties to their customers.

If your home comes with a warranty, make sure you ask how long it lasts, as well as what it covers. Not all companies may offer the same type of warranty.

Amenities

Manufactured homes generally have wall-to-wall carpeting, appliances, hardwood floors, and top of the line fixtures. They may come with 10-foot ceilings, ceramic tile flooring, soaker bathtubs, jet tubs, walk in closets, and more. You will find some with gabled roofs, bay windows, and fireplaces. It is common to have more than one bathroom with sunken tubs and double sinks.

Speed of Construction

A factory can build a manufactured home much quicker than construction of a home onsite.  When the home reaches your property, it is almost complete, which allows you to move in much quicker. Just because these homes are constructed much quicker does not mean they are less safe. Manufactured homes have to be inspected to make sure they comply with building and safety codes.

Flexibility in Design

If you have never been in a manufactured home, you will probably be surprised at how elaborate they can be. Manufactured homes may have more than one story, decks, vaulted ceilings, garages, and porches. Builders can customize your home to your specific needs, such as granite countertops, hardwood floors, and stainless steel appliances.

Eco-Friendly

Manufactured homes can be eco-friendly in many ways. You could have low-flow faucets installed, a roof designed to collect rainwater, and a high efficiency heat pump. This saves water, reduces carbon emissions, and energy.

If you want to build a new home for you and your family, you should consider a manufactured home. Contact a business like Country West Mobile Home Park, which offers a wide selection of manufactured homes. This can give you an idea of what they look like inside and out.

Staying in Great Health Requires Exercise

My parents taught me healthy eating habits and I played outside a lot as a kid. Once I was old enough to work, I got a job as a waiter at a restaurant and kept waiting tables throughout high school and college. After college, I got my very first desk job, and my health started declining. I soon realized that even though I had never stepped foot in a gym, I was living a sedentary lifestyle for the first time in my life. I wasn't getting exercise playing outside or running around at work, so I decided to commit to going to the gym. My health began to improve and I now greatly enjoy bodybuilding. I know many other people are in ill health and can't figure out why, so I decided to start a blog to share my health tips and inspire everyone improve their health!
